 Living Earth Foundation (LEF) was established as an international not-for-profit organisation in 1987, specialising in working with people to resolve their environmental and social concerns. We are a UK registered charity with that has established a unique portfolio of projects, which have set new standards of working in education, environment and community development. Living Earth also promotes and practises positive engagement and partnership working with local communities, civil society, corporations and governments in developing solutions to local, regional, national and international problems.Living Earth has developed an international remit because we believe that many of the challenges society now faces are of a global nature and will be most effectively addressed by understanding different views and perspectives, sharing ideas across cultures and learning from each other to develop a locally appropriate response. We are currently running programmes in eight countries, working in diverse localities from the Niger Delta to Venezuela, Alaska to Sakhalin Island.
